Travis is a life-long resident of Swanton and charter member of the Swanton Lions Club. He attended St. Richard Elementary School and is a graduate of Swanton High School. Travis attended BGSU and graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Ohio and is a Mortuary Science Licensee in the State of Michigan.
Travis is the proud father of three wonderful kids. Eva is a Senior at BGSU, majoring in Social Work, Trent is a recent Swanton High School graduate and will be attending OSU in the fall majoring in Business and Accounting, and Lucy will be entering the fifth grade. They all love spending time together at the lake cottage in Michigan swimming, boating and tubing.
Bryan has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 27 years. He has two sons, Michael and Kyle, and resides in Toledo, Ohio.
Brooks is a dual licensed apprentice. She graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2019 with a Bachelors of Mortuary Science. Brooks was also Class Representative, received Summa Cum Laude as well as the Joel E. Crandall Restorative Art Award.
Sally brought a light to Weigel Funeral Home that will be forever missed. Her kindness, compassion, empathy and love she showed to every family cared for during the most difficult of times will not be forgotten. Thank you Sally for always being you.
Jeff along with his wife Annie is the owner of the funeral home. Jeff is a 1985 graduate of Wayne State University’s Mortuary Science Program.
He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University which he earned in 1992. He enjoys exercising and spending time off with his children – Maggie, Jack and Peter.
Jeff and his family are members of the St. Basil Catholic Church. When time allows, Jeff likes to be active in our community and is a member of the Kiwanis Club, Loyal Order of the Moose, Sons of the American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus. In 2013, Jeff and his family were the St. Basil Knights of Columbus Family of the year.
Jeff was recognized by the Bobby Walker Administration with their Leadership Award in 2010. He was also recognized by the First Spiritual Church of Covert for his role in community leadership in 2015.
