William A. Stehowsky

William Allen Stehowsky, 64, of Swanton, OH died peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1959 in Anderson, IN to the late William E. and Iris (Allen) Stehowsky. He graduated from Huron High School in Ann Arbor and earned his Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University.  

Bill went on to establish a long career at State Farm Insurance, where he worked for more than 30 years. His faith in Jesus was his foundation. Bill enjoyed good conversation, being outdoors, and had recently spent the “best summer of his life!” using his John Deere tractor to tend to his property. 

Bill is survived by his sister, Sara Phelan, his nephew, John Phelan, his niece, Lindsey Carver, and great-nephew, Caleb Carver, as well as many other friends and relatives. 

His remains will be interred in Wyocena, WI with his beloved mother, Iris. A celebration of life may be planned in the spring in the Toledo area. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your local humane society.
