Wayne LeRoy Lenfestey, age 85, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday morning, January, 13, 2009, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 28, 1923, to Frank and Hazel (Shinew) Lenfestey, in Delta, Ohio. On December 29, 1951 he married Florence “Sally” Pilliod. Wayne was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. He worked for Plasco/Allied Chemical as a stationary engineer for 37 years retiring in 1989.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Florence “Sally” Lenfestey; children, Gary (Lynne) Lenfestey, Sandra (Kevin) Keogh, Ann (Steve) Sadowski, Steve Lenfestey, Peggy (Mark) Green; and 9 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Douglas; infant grandson, Jordan Sadowski; and sister, Ruth Slater.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Fulton and Williams Counties.
