Trevor A. Nicholson, age 26, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at home in his sleep, Friday, June 24, 2011 with his loving dog, Lucy by his side. He was born June 6, 1985 at 9:28 p.m. to Bryan and Laurie (Lempke) Nicholson.

Trevor had many friends and was a wonderful friend to all. If you ever needed an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, he was the one to turn to. Trevor graduated from Whitmer High School in 2003 and from the University of Toledo in 2010. Trevor was an avid OSU, Boston Red Sox, and Duke Basketball fan, and he will forever be a JUGALO. He will be missed everyday by all who knew him; especially, his loving family, and he will live on in our hearts FOREVER.

Trevor leaves to cherish his memory his parents; Laurie and Ron Kleopfer, Bryan and Sue Nicholson; brothers, Andrew and Ron Kleopfer; sister, Josie Kleopfer; grandparents, Helen Lempke, Barb and Joe Mechel, Roger and Norma Kleopfer, and Betty Brown; step-grandparents, Paul and Kay Wymer, Marjorie Dyga, and June and Harold Harter; aunts and uncles, Doug Lempke, Julie and Larry Bachli, Phyllis and Bob Short, and Doug and Julie Nicholson.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Harry and Eileen Dittman, and grandfather’s, Phillip Nicholson and Robert Lempke.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, June 30th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m.

A celebration of his life will be held, Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Harbor View Yacht Club, 2180 Autokee St., Oregon, OH 43616.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
