Tobin “Toby” W. Benner, age 29, of Lyons, Ohio, died Monday afternoon, August 2, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born May 3, 1981 in Wauseon, Ohio to Alicia (Cately) Benner and Charles Benner. Toby was a gifted artist who enjoyed drawing. He also was an avid reader and a sword collector.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Alicia; father, Charles; 6 year-old son, Logan; sisters, Dawn Patterson and Miranda (Fiance, Brian McCowen) Benner; brother, Brian (Heather) Dreier; as well as several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Toby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Joyce Cately, and Charles and Rafelo Benner.

Friends and family may visit Saturday, August 7th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora, Ohio (419-644-3601), where funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Lyons Cemetery.
