Timothy Raymond Worline, of Swanton, Ohio, born February 16th, 1943, to Arlo and Mary Ellen (Keogh) Worline in Toledo, Ohio, entered into eternal peace, January 30th, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He grew up in Monclova, Ohio where he attended Anthony Wayne Schools. Tim was both a scholar and an athlete, winning the Dick Monroe award in 1961 after participating in four sports all four years of high school. He attended the University of Toledo and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1966.

He then married longtime family friend Patricia Ann Conner on January 29th, 1966 at St. Richard Church, in Swanton, Ohio, where he was a lifelong parishioner. Tim and Pat raised five children in Swanton, Ohio.

As a Licensed Professional Engineer, Tim worked at Owens-Illinois and AVCA Corp. and then started his own business, T. R. Tim lived out his faith as a Permanent Deacon at St. Richard Catholic Church. He was ordained in 1982 and served the St. Richard community through 2013. He was proud to have baptized his youngest daughter and all twelve of his grandchildren. He was a great counselor and mentor to those in the community. As continuing education for the deaconate, he later obtained a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton.

In addition to those accomplishments, Tim had many passions. Passions for his family, for a good days work, the outdoors, photography, chocolate, flying, bird watching, bicycling and fishing. Tim and his family enjoyed vacationing at Rice Lake in Ontario, Canada over the last 57 years. Tim resumed his passion for aviation 20 years ago and regained his private pilot’s license. He was an active member of the EAA Chapter 149 at the Fulton County Airport. Tim enjoyed many flights in his own plane through the years. Tim always had a project going on in his workshop; woodworking, welding, or repairing.

Tim was an avid reader and enjoyed reflective journaling leaving behind a plethora of wisdom and insight for his family to enjoy. He was always looking for ways to grow and better himself.
