Timothy Paul Tworek

Timothy Paul Tworek, age 38, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes, Saturday morning, February 4, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. Tim was born December 14, 1973 in Oregon, Ohio to Jay and Carol (Bird) Tworek. He was raised in West Unity, Ohio, and on September 20, 1996, married his loving wife, Lisa Christensen.

Tim obtained his associate’s degree in aviation from Davis Business College and worked as a supervisor for Keystone Foods in Toledo. He currently was attending Tiffin University working on his business administration degree. When Tim wasn’t working or attending college, he thoroughly enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled airplanes. He also enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Ohio State fan. But most of all, he loved being a husband and a dad.

Tim was a very devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 15 years, Lisa; son, Caleb; daughter, Carley; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Sheila Vasicek of Adrian, MI; twin brother, Dave (Grace) Tworek, Terry Tworek, and Keith Tworek; as well as his foster parents, Pete and Pat Weber of West Unity, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Carol Tworek.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, February 8th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Services will be held Thursday, February 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Dan DeFriece officiating. Interment will follow at South Swanton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for Caleb and Carley’s Education Fund.
