Thomas E. Crider

Thomas E. Crider, age 43, of Swanton, Ohio, died unexpectedly, Monday morning, December 31, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. He was born April 28, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio to David and Sherrie (Tippin) Crider.

Thomas served in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist and received an Honorable Discharge in 1995. He obtained an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix. Thomas stayed busy working as a security guard for Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., as well as taking classes.

He is survived by his parents, David and Sherrie Crider; brother, David Crider, sister, Theresa (John) Bombrys; and 4 nieces, Gina Crider and Marisa, Rachel, and Lauren Bombrys.

Thomas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Christine Crider; and maternal grandparents, John E.Tippin and Clover Redmond.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 4th from 6 to 8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 5th at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
