Terry Lee Cousino of Swanton, Ohio, passed away December 13, 2023, at the Grove at Oakleaf Village of Sylvania. He was born June 13, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio to Geraldine (Tompkins) and Homer Cousino and grew up in the South End. Terry graduated from Libby High School in 1968. He was employed by H.J. Heinz Co. for 32 years, retiring as a Distribution Center Supervisor in 2000. After retirement, Terry renovated houses as investments. He married his love, JoAnne, on December 29, 1984.
Terry was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and a past president and sergeant-at-arms of the Victory Club. He enjoyed boating and camping with his family at Lost Peninsula Marina, landscaping his property, taking care of his family and horses, and hiking at Secor and Oak Openings Metroparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents Geraldine and Homer Cousino, brothers Leonard Cousino and Roger Fling and brother-in-law James Batdorf. He is survived by his wife JoAnne (Brehm), siblings; Edward "Butch" (Ethel) Cousino, Bonnie Durham, Darlene Batdorf, Ronald "Big Dog" Cousino, and by children; Scott Cousino (Janet Telema-Adams), Brian Cousino (Rose), Kimberly Myers (David), six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut Street, Swanton, Ohio on Monday, December 18, 2023, for a visitation from 10 am to 12 pm, with a funeral service following directly afterwards at 12:00 pm (Noon), with Deacon Larry Lottier presiding. Interment will follow at Sharples Cemetery.
