The Lord called home, Sue K. Strong, age 59, who passed away peacefully in her home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family, Monday morning, September 27, 2010. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Lynn & Shirley Milner on May 30, 1951.

Sue was a successful businesswoman running her small business for the past 30 years. She was an avid member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 479, The Elks and VFW of Swanton, OH. She contributed her time and efforts to everyone she knew and extended her generosity through Benefits held in the Swanton Community.

Surviving is her loving and devoted husband, Ken Strong; adoring children, Jenny (Dan) Baisch, Jake (Whitney) Boyd, Jamie Boyd & Leslie Strong. Also surviving, sister, Lynda (Butch) Morrison; brother, Casey Milner; Cousin, Sandy Wagner; grandchildren, Morgan & Danny Baisch, Lexa Boyd, and Ty Harbin; as well as grandson, Lucas Boyd, expected to arrive late this year; and many relatives and dear friends. Preceding her in death were her loving parents Lynn & Shirley Milner.

Her family would like to thank Hospice of NW Ohio for their loving care and guidance.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, September 29th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut in Swanton. Funeral services will be held at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 Dodge St. in Swanton on Thursday, September 30th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brian Haller officiating. Interment will follow at South Swanton Cemetery.
