Stella Long, age 91, of Wauseon, Ohio, died peacefully Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born July 30, 1919 in Swanton, Ohio to Casimer and Josephine (Strzelecki) Lipinski. In her early years, she was employed at Pilliod Cabinet Company.

Stella enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and working with flowers, and was a child caregiver for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Steve) Vasvery; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren with 3 on the way; brothers, Leonard and Robert Lipinski of Swanton and Stanley Lipinski of Delta; sisters, Helen Kowinski of Monclova and Carol Daley of Swanton.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents; 12 brothers and sisters; and daughter, Diana M. Emahiser.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, March 23rd from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
