Sheila A. Deren

February 22, 1955 — May 21, 2012

Our Angel, Sheila Ann Deren, age 57, of Holland, Ohio, entered the Gates of Heaven, Monday afternoon, May 21, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born February 22, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey to William Joseph and Jean Marie (Gallagher) Deren.

Sheila was a very special servant of the Lord who taught all who knew her about God's gifts of love, charity, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and simple joy without ever speaking a word. She loved music, enjoying good food and spending time outdoors. Sheila was very expressive and cherished her sense of touch.

Most of all, Sheila loved being around her family and was the center of their world. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Kathleen (Gary) Fox of Hurlock, MD, Patricia (Dennis) Golden of Manahawkin, NJ, William J. Jr. (Bonnie) Deren of West Creek, NJ, Theresa (Bradley) Haupricht of Swanton, OH, and Colleen (Mark) Daly of Cordova, MD; as well as 14 nieces and nephews; and 9 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jean; nephew, Jerome; grandniece, Kaliann; and grandnephew, Tyler.
