Sandra G. Norman

Sandra G. Norman, age 81, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Ohio Living Hospice, Monday afternoon, April 27, 2020.  Sandra was born February 8, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to M.B. Simpson and Helen  Elizabeth (Hamilton) Reeser.  She married Edward D. Norman II, and he preceded her in death.

Sandra worked as a manager of the credit department at Sears in Tampa, Florida.  Sandra loved life, taking care of her family and serving the Lord were top priority.  She also took pride in her home and loved rearranging furniture.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, whom she was so supportive of, Renee Norman; grandsons, Christopher Kyle Norman (Fiancee, Natalie Ziakam) and Shane Norman; great-grandson, Connor Dallas Norman; son, Jimmy Don (Martha) Norman; her sister, Donna (Nelson) Weaver; sisters-in-law, Janice Bassett and Margie Calhoun; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Edward, Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Elizabeth Reeser; stepfather, Ray Reeser and her son, Edward D. Norman III and sisters-in-law, Janelle Couch and Joyce Wilson.

A memorial gathering is to be held Saturday, June 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631).

Thank you to the aides and nurses with Ohio Living Hospice who came out to the house to help us take care of our very special mother and grandmother............."We couldn't have done it without you!"
