Ruth Anne Franklin, age 72, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, April 2, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born June 15, 1937 in Swanton, Ohio to Ralph and Margaret (Rice) Franklin. She was a 1955 graduate of Swanton High School. On August 20, 1956, she married John H. Williams in Monroe, Michigan. Ruth loved cooking, and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Debra A. Williams, Kathy L. (Bob) Wojchiechowski, Denis L. Williams, Linda S. (Todd) Morse, and Pamela J. (Potsie) Weber; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Laura L. Kronz, Lois Jean Hogan, Donna M, Gardner, Carole L. (Bill) Mason Grace M. (Don) Bauman, Floyd R. Bud (Nancy) Franklin, John W. (Sandy) Franklin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; son, John S. Williams; and sister, Sharon K. Franklin.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, April 10th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Brian Haller officiating. Burial will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
