Ruby M. Johnson, age 84, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, November 9, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born May 18, 1923 in Delta, Ohio to George and Laura (Davis) Johnson. Ruby’s lifelong passion was making comforters for the needy in the area. She also enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Ruby is survived by her siblings, Lewis Johnson, Ralph (Grace) Johnson, Florence Salsberry and Marvin Johnson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harry and Paul Johnson and sisters, Ethel Krieger, Grace Johnson and Alice Johnson.

Private funeral services will be held at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Interment will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
