Rosemarie Lanes, age 84, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 20, 2011, at Swanton Valley Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 11, 1927 in Leipsic, Ohio to Albert J. and Mary F. (Blake) Schmidt. She married Earle Lanes, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Rosemarie is survived by her siblings, James Schmidt, Robert Schmidt, June Hart, and Mary (Jerry) Wilson.

Besides her husband, Earle, she was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Michael Dimmer.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Richard’s Cemetery.
