Ronald F. Patek

Ronald F. Patek, age 79, of Metamora, OH, entered into eternal rest, Sunday morning, January 9, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. Ronald was born June 3, 1942, in Adrian, MI to Frank J. Sr. and Rose (Stasa) Patek. Ronald graduated from Metamora High School in 1960. He started working at Jeep in 1962 and retired after 30yrs. In 1968 he was drafted into the Army and was honorably discharged in 1970. Ronald married Judith Sukup on September 18, 1976 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulding, OH. Together they raised three children and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judith; son, Nicholas Patek; daughters, Traci (David) Daly and Mattie (Jesse) Johnson; 6 grandchildren; brother, Frank (Lois) Patek; sister, Beverly (Raymond) Langenderfer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Frank J. Sr. and Rose (Stasa) Patek.

Visitation will be Friday, January 14th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, where Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Dandurand presiding. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.
