Ronald Lee Callahan, age 42, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away in his home, Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was born July 10, 1970 in Victorville, California to Howard H. (Bud) Callahan and Hazel (Williams) Wood.

Ron was a member of Local 50 Pipefitters and Sons of the American Legion Swanton Post #479.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Hazel Wood; stepfather, Ray Wood; sons, Ronald Jr., Trevor, and Casey Callahan; brother, Michael Callahan; stepsister, Dawn (Patrick) Oppedahl; stepbrother, Mark Wood; his goddaughter, Bentley Bishop; His Aunts & Uncles, Terri & John Terborg, and Beverly & Chuck Little as well as his many nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Howard.

Family and friends may gather Saturday, June 15th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a Memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Knisely officiating.
