Roger Keith Dopp, age 64, recently passed away unexpectedly in his rural McComb, Ohio home. He was born to the late John William Dopp and Marvel Avis Osmun on May 12, 1949 in Hudson, Michigan. He graduated from Morenci High School in 1967. Roger was a longtime farmer, and more recently, worked as a real estate broker for Century 21 Koehler & Associates in Findlay, Ohio. Roger was a longtime boxer enthusiast. He was the founder of Tri-Starr Boxers and was a member of Miami Valley Boxer Club.
Roger is survived by his son, Justin (Anna) Dopp of Pembroke Pines, Florida; daughter, Marissa (Jerome) Wilburn of Pettisville, Ohio; and 3 step-grandchildren, Emmah, Samuel and Nathan. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul (Margaret) Dopp, Jackson, Mississippi, William (Vicky) Dopp, Archbold, Ohio, Judy (late Robert) Vanderveer, Morenci, Michigan, and Dale (Sherry) Dopp, Jackson, Michigan; as well as many aunts, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother, Lyle Dopp.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 14th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where services celebrating Roger's life will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
