Robert Russell Schnuth

Robert R. Schnuth, age 63, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 23, 2011 in his home. He was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on December 5, 1948 to Elmer and Marjorie (Johnson) Schnuth. He was married to Christine Bura who died in July of 1992.

Robert served in the National Guard and worked at Johnson Controls, retiring in 2010. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was an avid bowler.

He is survived by his sons, Aaron (Diana) Schnuth and Matthew Schnuth; grandson, Connor; brother, Gary (Kathy) Schnuth; and sister, Debbie.

Besides his wife, Christine, Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Tom.

Family and friends may gather Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Jean Pope officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the MS Society or Trinity United Methodist Church.
