Robert LeRoy Johnson, age 56, of Swanton, Ohio, died Monday morning, November 19, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born April 21, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Naomi (Mullins) Johnson. Bob owned and operated BJ Trucking in Swanton, Ohio. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially fishing and taking cruises. He was so proud of his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rebecca Pawlinski; children, Bobby Jo (Walter) Raftery, Brandon (Stefanie) Johnson, and Brittany Johnson; grandchildren, Landon, Whitney, Max, and Peyton Johnson, and Meghan and Colin Raftery; twin sister, Linda Johnson; brothers, Donald Hazlett, and Charlie (Carol) Hazlett; and mother-in-law, Betty Pawlinski.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pete Johnson, Dave Baer, Sam Hazlett, and Tom Hazlett; and father-in-law, Edward Pawlinski.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 23rd from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton 419.826.2631. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. John Bell officiating. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
