Robert Eugene Howard, Jr., age 58, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, September 8, 2008 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 21, 1950 in Findlay, Ohio to Robert and Irene (Miller-Cieslewicz) Howard. He served in United States Marines and was a Vietnam Veteran. Robert married Sue Anna Mills on September 10, 1982. Robert was a machine operator for the Parker Hannifin Corporation in Metamora, Ohio.

Robert was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football teams. He also enjoyed trivia and watching Jeopardy. Robert loved the rural country life.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Sue; mother, Irene (Ronald) Cieslewicz; sons, Jarrid Howard and Jonathon Edward Howard; siblings, Kenneth (Laura) Howard, Cathleen (Brian) Craig, Mary Jo (Norb) Boxhorn, Balinda (Gary) Miller, Joanie (Blaque) Bauman, Frank (Charise) Howard; step-brother, Joe (Annette) Cieslewicz, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Howard, Sr.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, September 10th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11th in the funeral home, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
