Robert Doyle, age 72, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, June 28, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 6, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late John A. and Lena (Goodrich) Doyle. On October 24, 1975, he married Linda Hagerman.

Robert attended Miami University and graduated from Cincinnati Bible University. He devoted his life to being a minister and social worker. He enjoyed watching sports and was a “History Buff”. He and his wife enjoyed traveling to visit historical places, as well as reading history books.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda; children, Kyle (Mary Ann ) Doyle, Jody (Michael) Holcomb and Clinton Doyle; brother, James Doyle; and sister, Ruth Lord.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Fulton Union Cemetery located on County Road HJ between County Roads 5 & 5-2 in Delta. Pastor David Boswell will officiate.
