Calling Hours: Monday, October 31st from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora

Robert J. Brodbeck, age 73, of Maumee, Ohio; formerly of Metamora, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, October 27, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born May 9, 1938 in Metamora, Ohio to the late Wilford Paul and Alfreda (Gillen) Brodbeck. He worked as a pipefitter-Local 50.

Robert is survived by his children, Greg Brodbeck, Wendy (Mike) Gorman, Matt Brodbeck, and Jim (Andrea) Brodbeck; grandchildren, Holly, Casey, Trent, Jim, Taylor, Zoe, Abbie, Keating, Drake, and Holden; and his siblings, Doris Kennedy, Pat (Joe) Snider, and Joe (Dorothy) Brodbeck.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Bill Brodbeck; and stepfather, Don Talmage.

Family and friends may visit Monday, October 31st from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.
