Ricky Allen Navarre, age 53, of Swanton, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, March 30, 2011. He was born May 14, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Eleanor (Butler) Navarre. He graduated from Swanton High School, and on May 24, 1975, married his beloved wife, Diane Johnson. Ricky worked for BAX Global, and spent weekends at Oakshade Raceway as a dirt track racing mechanic.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Diane; children, Ricky, Jr. (Kelli) Navarre, Angela Navarre, Jay (Keli) Navarre, and Tracy (CJ) Langwell; 15 grandchildren; and siblings, Joseph (Sandy) Navarre, Robert (Genny) Navarre, Janet (Keith) Newton, and Claud (Eunice) Wilson.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronnie; and grandbaby.

Family and friends may visit Friday, April 1st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Services will be private.
