Rick S. Roberts

Rick S. Roberts, age 68, of Swanton, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, November 22, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born December 2, 1949 to James and Marilyn (Scott) Roberts.  Rick graduated from Brush High School in Cleveland, Ohio and attended The University of Toledo.  

In June of 1970, he married Jo Ann Biscay. Rick and Jo Ann were teaching parents with Community Teaching Homes.

Rick enjoyed working with young people, fishing, outdoor living and spending time with family and friends in Canada.

Rick is survived by beloved wife of 48 years, JoAnn; brother, David (Anne) Roberts; sisters, Lori (Dennis) Grabowy and Robin (Chris) Suhay, cousins and extended family.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
