Randy Alan Solly Jr. age 35 of Delta, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 4th 2024. Randy was met by his Grandparents; Ken and Carol Solly, Burt and Mary Wright, Grandmother; Gerrie Jacobs, cousin; Benjamin Barnaby. Randy attended Pike Delta York High School along with Four County Career Center where he studied Auto Mechanics. He was currently working as a crane operator at Fulton County Processing.
Though Randy’s time with us was shorter than expected, he left those close to him with many fond memories to cherish. From his first smile on, Randy’s smile was contagious, despite him personally removing his braces in front of a mirror with needle nose pliers shortly after they were applied. He was blessed with a witty, humorous personality that would either drive you crazy or brighten your day with laughter. Those who truly knew Randy would agree, there were rarely dull moments when he was near. He loved with his whole heart and would do anything for anyone without a question asked or a favor in return. He was extremely giving and selfless.
Randy was blessed with two beautiful daughters that he loved wholeheartedly. Becoming a father was his greatest and most proud accomplishment. His hobbies included riding his dirt bike, fishing, boating, water sports, working on anything with a motor and spending time with family and his beloved dog Toby. He truly cherished the smaller things in life that are so often taken for granted.
Randy will be greatly missed by his mother; Audra Tolson (Mark Myers) Step father; Gregory Tolson, his children; Kadince Solly and Emma Solly, siblings; Tiffany Knierim, Tatum Tolson, Lauren Myers, niece and nephew; Tucker and Karter Knierim, many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and his loyal K9 companion; Toby. Lets not forget, his most prideful purchases; his Snap-on tool box and KTM dirt bike.
Family and friends are welcome to join in honoring Randy’s life on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at Grisier~Weigel Funeral home, 400 Main St. Delta, Ohio 43515 beginning at 3:00 pm, and will be followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm with Robert Lomas officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund set up for his daughters, Kadince and Emma.
