Pauline K. Born

Pauline K. Born, age 89, of Swanton, Ohio, died peacefully, Wednesday evening, August 8, 2012 at Swanton Valley Care & Rehabilitation. She was born July 3, 1923 in Swanton to Clayton and Anna (Weber) Brown.

During WWII, Pauline worked for Willys Overland. After retiring from A&P Food Stores, she worked for The Andersons and Super Valu in the deli and bakery. She loved playing the piano, organ and her accordion. She also enjoyed cooking and country living on Wilkins Road in Swanton.

Most of all, Pauline loved being around her family. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard (Judy) Born of Athens, GA, Wes (Judy) Born of Toledo, OH, and Jeffrey Born of Lambertville, MI; grandchildren, Kelly (Tim) Strauss, Tina (Randy) Fry, David (Stephanie) Born, Sally V. Born, Chelsea Born, and Cody and Jessie; as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister; ex-husband, Robert; daughters, Patty Smith and Molly Mohr; grandsons, Clayton Smith and Ryan Mohr; and daughter-in-law, Valerie Born.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, August 12th from 12 (noon)

to 2:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where funeral

services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Donna Stutzman

officiating. Interment will follow at Sharples Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
