Paul Keirsey

Paul Keirsey, age 79, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was born on November 23, 1932, in Rogersville, Tennessee, to Charles and Sarah (Mayo) Keirsey. Paul married Roberta Boyd on September 3, 1954. Paul served in the US Army and was a lifetime member of Defiance AMVETS Post #1991, and a lifetime member of Rogersville, TN, American Legion Post. Paul retired from GM Powertrain Toledo in 1995 after

working 26 ½ years on 3rd shift. Paul enjoyed gardening, collecting old

money, watching Nascar racing, and visits from and with his grandchildren

and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is his loving wife, Roberta; children, Sarah M. (Louie Carson) Brown, Barbara Keirsey, Paul S. Keirsey, and Katrina D. (Jason) Phillips; sister, Hazel Haynes, of Maryland; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Brown; sister, Ruby Mayo, and brothers, Charles, Ralph, Bob, Ed, J.D., and Frankie Keirsey.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
