Pamela Janine Lawniczak

Pamela Janine Lawniczak, age 64, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Thursday, October 25, 2012. She was born October 4, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Al and Jane (Martin) Wymer. She graduated from Swanton High School Class of ’69. Pamela married Michael Lawniczak on June 24, 1980.

Pamela worked 42 years for Hertz Car Rental Company before retiring in 2008. She was an avid reader, loved watching baseball – especially the Detroit Tigers, and football, and was known to watch every sport played during the Olympic games. Most of all, she loved watching her eleven year-old grandson, Michael Allan, playing football and baseball.

Pam will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a very special person who believed in always doing the right thing. She was kind beyond measure and fair and honest and good. Her love for her family was fierce and unwavering. She was so loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Michael; son, Michael David (Jami) Lawniczak; grandsons, Michael Allan Lawniczak and Jacob Zeigler; siblings, David (Lynne) Wymer, Chuck (Brenda) Wymer, Nancy Wymer (Ron Blankenship), Marty (Robin) Wymer, and Micki (Kevin) Rybicki; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Barbara Lawniczak, Danny (Sally) Lawniczak, Becky (Danny) Keivens, Larry (Karen) Lawniczak, and Teresa (Kurt) Sharp; and many nieces and nephews.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Jane Wymer, and father and mother-in-law, Chester and Theresa Lawniczak.

Family and friends may visit Monday, October 29th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Services celebrating Pamela’s life will be held Tuesday, October 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
