Orleana Strayer

Graveside Services: Monday, October 10th at 2:00 pm at Roth Cemetery in Moncova, Ohio

Orleana Strayer, age 89, of Largo, Florida, formerly of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, May 25, 2011, at Pinellas Park Hospice in Florida. She was born October 10, 1921, in Oak Harbor, Ohio to Arthur and Mary (Floriana) Below. Orleana married Wallace Strayer on January 6, 1942; he passed away on August 28, 1977. Her greatest joy in life was working in the yard and in her garden.

Orleana was survived by her children, Gary (Judith) Strayer, Ronald Strayer, and Sharon Cryer; grandchildren, Donald Strayer, Matthew (Vicky) Strayer, and Julie Strayer; great-grandchildren, Brandy Ames, Rachael Strayer, and Matt Strayer.

Orleana was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace; and brothers, Frederick and Calvin.

Graveside services will be held at Roth Cemetery located on Keener Rd. in Monclova, Ohio, on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
