Olive Rose Mikola

Olive Rose Mikola, age 83, of Delta, Ohio, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Swanton Health Care, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 4, 1931 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to Leo and Mary Ann (Snyder) Schneider. On June 24th, 1950, she married Donald L. Mikola, he preceded her in death on January 29, 2009.

Olive was a member of St. Richard Catholic Parish, Swanton Elks Lodge, and the Delta Eagles. She loved the game of golf and enjoyed playing cards. Olive loved to sing and decorate her house for the holidays.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Connie (Bill) Sturtevant of Swanton, OH and Pam (Tom) Tolford of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Jay (Jen) Ronau, Jeff (Amanda) Mann, Cassie (Vic) Hartzell, and Kris (Jessica) Ronau; great-grandchildren, Mirabella Mann-Ray, Ashley Hartzell and Gwen Ronau; sister, Rose Mary Smith; sister-in-law, Betty Lager, and son-in-law, Burton (Eileen) Mann.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Peggy Mann; son, Ronald Mikola, brother, Bob Schneider, and sister Burnetta Rardin.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, January 18th from 2 to 6p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, January 19th at 10:00a.m. at St. Richard Catholic Church in Swanton. Interment will take place in St. Richard Memorial Garden at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Richard Catholic Church.
