Nancy Irene Jones

Nancy Irene Jones, age 76, of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday morning, July 24, 2013, at Swanton Health Care Center. She was born February 24, 1937 in Swanton, Ohio to Dean and Lillian (Keiger) Chamberlain. Nancy was a homemaker raising 3 children.

Nancy was the ultimate Ohio State Buckeyes Football Fan, who enjoyed fishing on the Maumee River and playing cards with her family. She was a member of Waterville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Nancy will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her children, Milo Aldrich, Jr. of Holiday, FL, Susan Weemes of Swanton, OH, and Michael Aldrich of Swanton, OH; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Dennis of Toledo, OH, Rebecca (Robert) Shepherd of Toledo, OH; brother, Tom (Darla) Chamberlain of Holland, OH; and her first husband, Milo Aldrich, Sr.

Besides her second husband of 20 years, Robert Jones, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Dean and Don Chamberlain.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon) at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where services celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).

Interment will follow at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Swanton Health Care Activities Fund or Gentiva Hospice.
