Monna Joyce Bass-Kennedy

Monna Joyce Bass, born May 9, 1937, was tragically taken from us on December 30, 2011, in an automobile accident. Survived by husband, Charles Kennedy, she resided in Holly, Michigan the last several years. Loving mother of daughter Fawn and husband Troy; son Stephen and wife Pamela; son Martin and wife Colette. Devoted Grandmother to Jake, Kurt, Alexandria, Amanda, Samantha Corissa and Jalynn. Beloved sister of six surviving brothers and sisters, Paul, Jerry, Sharon, Faith, Julene, Jewel and deceased brothers, Dale Bass and Warren Bass; deceased parents Rev. Martin and Rev. Amanda Bass. Monna is survived not only by family members, but by numerous friends who will dearly miss her. She had a true flair for life, found joy in everything, was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon) at the Swanton Church of the Nazarene, 315 W. Airport Highway, Swanton, Ohio, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) with Rev. Harold Ratliff officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
