Molly L. Moher, age 61, of Swanton, Ohio, went to be with her heavenly Father, Saturday evening, July 5th, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born April 16, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Pauline (Brown) Born. Molly was a 1965 graduate of Swanton high school. She was a hairdresser for many years and Swanton Super Valu deli manager. Last year, she helped at the counter at St. Mary’s Meat in Assumption.
Molly was a dedicated Christian, leaning on her faith throughout her illness. Her tenderness and caring touched everyone, especially, her animals – Poo, Cosmo and Angel; even all the wild “critters”. She enjoyed writing and sending cards to family and friends, whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Greg) Marvin of Swanton, OH, mother, Pauline Born, of Swanton, OH; grandsons, Andy and Tony Mohr; granddaughter, Kayla Marvin; brothers, Dr. Richard (Judy) Born ofAthens, GA, Wesley (Judy) Born, of Toledo, OH, Jeff (Val) Born of Lambertville, MI; nieces, Kelly (Tim and Bella) Strauss of Wauseon, OH, Chelsea of Athens, GA, Sally of Toledo, OH, Jessie Lambert of Toledo, OH and nephew, David Born of Toledo, OH.
Molly was preceded in death by her father, Robert Born; son, Ryan Mohr; sister, Patricia Smith and nephew, Clay Smith.
Friends and family may visit Wednesday, July 9th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Banks officiating. Interment will follow at Sharples Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family, Humane Society or Susan B. Koman Foundation.
Special thanks to Dr. Horvath and all the nurses at St. V’s oncology clinic, and to all of Molly’s friends for their support.
People so seldom say “I love you.”
