Mildred "Millie" Anna Lambert

Mildred Anna Lambert, affectionately known as Millie, age 84, of Delta, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 at the Fulton Manor in Wauseon. She was born May 14, 1932 in Monclova, Ohio to the late John and Inez (Shufelt) Suleski. Millie graduated from Monclova High School and on November 30, 1952 married her beloved husband, Harold Lambert.

Millie was a member of the Delta American Legion Post #373 Ladies Auxiliary and loved embroidery, sewing, and bird watching.

Millie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold; daughters, Jane (Bill) Vaughan, Beverly (Michael) Tanner, Denise (Bill) Hilyard and Alice (Jack) Simon; son, Steve Lambert; grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsay (Jack), Eric, Austin (Ashley), Ben (Jamie), Lisa (John), Michelle (Matt), Katy (Nick), Martha, Lydia (Rob) and John (Bethann); 11 great-grandchildren and one other on the way; her siblings, Fran Lee, Mary Russell, John (Jan) Suleski, Dave (Judy) Suleski and Rose (Mike) Mininger; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, Weldon Lee and Kenny Russell and sister-in-law, Shirley Suleski.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home, 400 W. Main St. in Delta (419.822.3121). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fulton Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Delta Fire Department.
