Michael H. Tredway

Michael H. Tredway, age 66, fomerly of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Michael was born March 4, 1947 in Lyons, OH to Fredrick and Marcella Tredway. He worked at Toledo Jewelers for 20 years before moving west where he continued in the jewelry business until his retirement.

Mike enjoyed collecting lighthouses, spending time with his grandchildren and arm chair traveling adventures. The love of horses and riding was always in his thoughts. His hearty laugh and gentle nature will forever be present in the hearts of his wife and daughters. Mike loved people and his engaging personality always brought smiles to anyone spending even a few moments with him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella Crowell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Fredrick and stepmother, Beatrice Tredway of Lyons, OH; his devoted wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Marcelene of LasVegas, NV, Lori of Carlsbad, CA and Lisa of Laughlin, NV; grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, and Jailynn; sister, Molly (Jack) Graf; brother, Matt (Evelyn); stepsister, Linda (Joe) Miller; and stepbrother, Bill (Bobbie) Simpkins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13th from 2 to 4 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora, where a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.
