Michael P. McClusky, age 57, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, June 13, 2008 in his home, following a long illness. He was born June 25, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Marilyn (Ruth) McClusky.
Michael was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
Michael was a truck driver who enjoyed model railroading, playing Santa Clause and loved spending time with his granddaughters. He was an Eagle Scout, former Sylvania Police Officer and a Special Deputy Marshal at the downtown Toledo Courthouse for 5 years. He also was a member of the Swanton Park and Recreation Board.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; mother, Marilyn; daughters, Heather McClusky, Katie (Damion) McClusky-Zimmerman and Amy (Paul) Chasco; granddaughters, Alexcia and Madyson McIntyer and sister, Kathy (Don) Keppler.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Robert and sister, Karen McClusky.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Lone Oak in Oak Openings Metropark.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
