Michael T. Heaton

Michael T. Heaton, age 64, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. He was born to the late Edward and Ruth (Collins) Heaton, and on November 7, 1987, married his beloved wife, Shirley Czajka. Michael served as vice president of the Human Resource Department at Bunting Bearings.

Michael was a self taught painter and keyboard player. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed camping trips with his wife. Michael was also very handy in and around the house, and was known to help anyone that needed a helping hand.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 25 years, Shirley; children, Janeene McVicker, Erin Bolvin, and John Heaton; stepchildren, Lynn (Jim) Plenzler, Cherie (Frank) Harman, Donald (Lori) Czajka, Scott (Kim) Czajka, and Kevin (Jamie) Czajka; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Richard and Scott Heaton; and sister, Kathleen (James) Schmitt.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
