Maxine Lamberson passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born January 28,1919 to Sam and Adah Sharples. She was a 1937 graduate of Scott High School and married John Lamberson in 1940. After retiring as a secretary for the Plumbers Local 50, she moved to Dewey Lake in Michigan. She was loved and cherished by her family.

She is survived by daughters Jackie (Wayne) Speweik and Sharon (Ernest) Gorey; grandchildren Greta Speweik, Sarah Bartja, Brenda Derouaux, Rachael (Ed) Smith and Colleen Gorey; great-grandchildren, Shereen (Brandon) Bartley, Robert Bartja, LCPL Krystal Bartja USMC, Brett Quinn, Rebecca Bartja, Cooper and Elizabeth Smith.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, November 17th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St., Metamora, Ohio (419-644-3601). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 18th at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ron Schock officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to give a special thanks for the compassionate care given by Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
