Mary Ann Nijakowski

Mary Ann Nijakowski, age 90, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family, Saturday afternoon, November 18, 2023. She was born July 24, 1933 in Holland , Ohio to Harold and Mary (Koralawski) Zientek.

Mary Ann was a long time member of Saint Richard's Catholic Parish. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Tim (Linda) Nijakowski, Jeanette (Tom) Molinski, Mike Nijakowski, Patrick (Gerry) Nijakowski, Linda Ann Nijakowski, Terry (Carla Good) Nijakowski; daughter-in-law, Kathy Nijakowski; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Nijakowski; sons, Mark Nijakowski, David Nijakowski and Richard Nijakowski, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00 am at St. Richard Catholic Church, with Fr. Eric Culler presiding.  Interment will follow at St. Richard's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the family.
