Mary Theresa Warner

Mary Theresa Warner, age 67, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Wednesday morning, April 16, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born May 6, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Stanley and Mable (Hasslett) Lewandowski. Mary married Charles Warner on January 7, 1966; he preceded her in death on May 30, 2011.

Mary retired from Toledo Public Schools as an accounting clerk. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes, where she started the Boosters and help implement the use of school uniforms. Mary served on the St. Francis Guild since 1977. When Mary moved to Swanton, she became a faithful member of St. Richard Catholic Church, where she worked as a bereavement counselor for many years and business manager in the church office. Mary enjoyed cooking, listening to classical music, and she loved to celebrate the holidays with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Carlton (Trisha); grandchildren, Carly, Baily, Kaitlyn, Kyle and Carlton, Jr.; brother, Stanley Lewandowski; and sister-in-law, Wilma Lewandowski.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charlie; and her siblings.

Family and friends may visit Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will continue Tuesday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Daniel J. Zak presiding and Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz assisting. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Richard’s Church, The American Heart Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation: Monday, April 21st from 2 to 8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Resurrection: Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 am at St. Richard's Catholic Church

Interment: St. Richard's Cemetery
