Mary Lou Daubenmeyer

Mary Lou Daubenmeyer, age 83, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon, December 18, 2023, in the emergency room at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio.  Mary was born August 6, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio to Andrew and Sophie (Lipinski) Toth.  She graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1958, and married her high school sweetheart, Larry Daubenmeyer, on her 20th birthday. 

Mary worked several years for the Pilliod Cabinet Company in Swanton. When the kids were growing up, she served as a 4-H advisor. She enjoyed the outdoors and tending to her flower garden. She also loved reading and watching the hummingbirds. 

Mary will be missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Larry; daughter, Laurie Daubenmeyer; grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor Daubenmeyer; sisters, Phyllis Rowe and Margaret Blevins, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Sophie Toth and her son, Terry L. Daubenmeyer.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 22nd from 5 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Graveside services at Swanton Cemetery will be  private at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
