Mary F. Barker

Mary F. Barker, age 67, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home with her daughter, Candy at her bedside, Monday morning, November 25, 2024.  Mary was born on December 28, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Richard and Frances (Marble) Boileau.  Mary was a dedicated home health aide, known for the compassionate care she provided to those in need.

A dog breeder, Mary embraced her passion for dogs, finding joy in nurturing and raising them, which brought her immense happiness and fulfillment. Her love for animals mirrored the warmth she shared with her family and friends, as she strived to create a loving environment for those around her.

Mary is survived by her son, Roger Barker, and her daughter, Candy (Willis) Peoples. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her granddaughters, Nakota and Nicole Barker and Hosanna Peoples.

Preceded in death by her parents and her dear friend Jose Vasquez, Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Graveside services at Swanton Cemetery will be private for the family.
