Marjorie A. Batdorf, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on her 97th birthday, Tuesday morning, February 24, 2015, at Swanton Health Care and Retirement Center. She was born February 24, 1918 in Delta, Ohio to Arch and Marion (Adams) Kirkman. She married Paul Batdorf, who preceded her in death on March 15, 2007.

Marjorie worked for The Pilliod Cabinet Company during the war, and was a waitress at the Ohio Turnpike, retiring in 1983.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Judy) "Butch" Batdorf of Waterville, OH and Candy Williams of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Brett (Laurie) Batdorf, Ben Batdorf, Sarah (Joe) Betancourt, Brian Sweet, and Terry Couts; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Paul, Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernie.

Private graveside services at Winameg Cemetery are pending.
