Marilyn E. Szkudlarek

Marilyn E. Szudlarek, age 88, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Heritage Village of Waterville. She was born January 22, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Howard and Helen Bevens. Marilyn graduated from Maumee High School. She married Paul F. Szkudlarek on February 24, 2018 at Wilkins United Methodist Church, where they both attended.

Marilyn was an animal lover, especially horses and dogs. She took in injured wild animals ranging from skunks and racoons, to any wild animal you could name, and rehab them back to good health.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Michael Howard Bigelow, Mitz Helen Bigelow-Davidson and Shannon Patrick Bigelow; grandchildren, Barry Bigelow, Jr., Bryan Bigelow, Dustin Patrick Bigelow and Tanna Jean (John) Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Cole Bigelow and Tanley Grace Caldwell; and her sister, Shirley (Jerry) Metcalf.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Bevens and son, Barry Scott Bigelow.

Funeral services are pending at Wilkins United Methodist Church.
