Marie R. Storeholder, age 86, entered into eternal life, Saturday morning, April 10, 2010. She was born on September 18, 1923 to Oscar and Edna (Mattin) Hoffman. An only child, Marie attended country schools the first 8 years of her school life, and then attended Delta High School for her final 4 years. She met her husband, Bernard Storeholder during the year of 1942, and married him on February 27, 1943. He died in 1998 after 55 years of marriage.

Marie is survived by two sons, Lawrence (Jean) and Michael (Mary Jane); 5 grandchildren, Sandra, Scott, Lynn, Steven, & Lisa; 9 great-grandchildren; many brothers- in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Rosary Prayer group, Rosary maker, and Rosary Altar Society at St Richard Catholic Church in Swanton.

Friends and family may visit Monday, April 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Prayers will begin in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 13th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Resurrection at St. Richard Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Daniel J. Zak officiating. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.
