Marie May Barlow

Marie May Barlow, age 85, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, May 16, 2014, at Swanton Valley and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 29, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Allen and Rose (Fairchild) Rogers. Marie was a homemaker raising five children, and a member of Brailey Union Church.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Barlow and Ronald Barlow, both of Florida; daughters, Patricia (Terry) Shidler and Nancy (Norman) Self, both of Swanton, OH; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Barlow; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, May 18 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 19th at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Ohio, with Pastor Lucas Wilson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
