Margaret Rose Watts

Margaret Rose Watts, age 73, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born May 6, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Aloysius and Helen (Gozdowski) Pawlaczyk. Margaret was a varsity cheerleader and graduate of Swanton High School, Class of '59. On June 25, 1960, she married her loving husband, Sterlus "Pete" Watts.

Margaret worked as a customer service manager for 32 years at Scottdel, Inc. in Swanton, retiring in 2007. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Parish and the Swanton Elks Lodge #2462 Ladies Auxiliary.

Margaret enjoyed golfing, playing bunco, and tending to her flower gardens. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 54 years, Pete; children, Michele (Jeff) Gillen, Phillip (Coleen) Watts, Christopher Watts, Val (Julia) Watts, and Tammy Sunior; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Luette) Pawlaczyk; sister, Marie (Eldon) Dickmann; brother-in-law, Norbert (Pam) Mossing; sister-in-law, Karen Mossing; and sister-in-law, Janet Pawlaczyk.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Aloysius Pawlaczyk, and brother-in-law, William Watts.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, April 14th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday, April 15th from 10:00 am. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld presiding and Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz assisting. Interment at St. Richard's Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
