Calling Hours: Wednesday, May 9th from 5 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora

Margaret Lucille Myers, age 93, a life-long resident of Metamora, Ohio, passed away at her residence on County Road 6, at 2:15 Sunday afternoon, May 6, 2012, from congestive heart failure. She was born to Rollie and Edith Pifer on August 6, 1918.

Surviving are her children, Carol Witt, Ferol Witt, and Roger Myers; as well as many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Myers; sister, Viola Jordan; and brothers, Dale and Franklin Pifer.

Margaret was a faithful member of Cornerstone Church in Toledo, Ohio since 1990. She was wise, gentle, and had a very treasured spirit. She always saw the positive side of any given situation, and had a smile that could light up a room – at home and at church.

She loved to cook, and her cats and dogs were her joy! She will be sadly missed for her soft hugs and treasured moments.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora (419.644.3601). Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Banks officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden-Zion Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Community Health Professionals of Williams & Fulton Co.; especially Ashley and April, along with her aide, Carol Roth. They were God sent and such a blessing to our family and Margaret.
